The Hermès HSS Kelly Sellier 20 Craie Epsom Permabrass is for sale as a one-off piece. The Kelly 20 is the Mini, the smallest size in production and the hardest of all of them to source at retail.

Sellier construction places the seams on the outside, which gives the Kelly its crisp edges and upright, architectural stance. It is the more formal of the two builds and it does not slouch. Epsom is an embossed calfskin with a pressed cross-hatch grain. It is light, rigid and wipe-clean, and it holds the sharp edges Sellier construction is built for. Permabrass is a warm, muted brass tone sitting between gold and palladium, and it appears on a small fraction of production.

The bag carries a front flap, two straps closing over a centre toggle, a clochette holding the lock and two keys, a single rolled handle and a removable shoulder strap. The interior is lined in Craie lambskin leather and has one open pocket on the back wall. This is a Special Order, or HSS, commission. Those are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf, they carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in combinations that never reach general stock.
