Goyard's small goods are where most people meet the house, and where the canvas makes the clearest case for itself. A card case lives in a pocket or the bottom of a bag and takes more abrasion in a year than a tote takes in five. Goyardine handles that better than calfskin does: the coating resists moisture, the chevron pattern hides the scuffing that would show plainly on smooth leather, and the panels can be wiped clean.
The range here covers the pieces Goyard makes consistently. The Saint Sulpice is the card holder, slim enough for a jacket pocket. The Senat is the zipped pouch, made in several sizes and frequently bought as an insert for a larger bag or as a clutch on its own. The Matignon is the wallet, in both compact and long formats. The Saint Marc and Saint Pierre cover the coin and key end of the range.
These are also the pieces where colour is easiest to justify. A bright canvas that would be a commitment on a tote is a small pleasure on a card case, which is why the yellow, orange and red pieces move faster in this section than they do elsewhere.
What to check when buying pre-owned: the leather trim and the corner points, which take the wear, and the interior card slots, which stretch with use. Zip pulls and hardware plating are the other tell. Each listing describes those individually rather than assigning an overall grade, and states whether the piece retains its box and dust bag.
Every item is authenticated in house, measured, and photographed as it actually is.
