25 is the size the market waits longest for, in either Birkin or Kelly. Togo is a pebbled calfskin with a fine raised grain. It shrugs off light scratching far better than a smooth leather and softens slowly at the corners. Brushed gold carries a matte satin finish rather than a mirror polish, offered only on special order commissions.
It is finished with tonal stitching. The interior is lined in Bleu Electric chevre leather. The two colours are run across separate panels rather than blended. Special Order, or HSS, pieces are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf. They carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in colour and leather combinations that never reach general stock.
