Cartier Panthère Secrete De Cartier 36mm Yellow Gold 2013, available to buy now. The Panthère launched in 1983 as a jewellery watch with a fully articulated bracelet, and Cartier reissued it after decades of demand.
The case measures 36mm x 21mm in yellow gold, on a alligator skin strap. The movement is quartz, battery-regulated and accurate to within seconds a month. It is diamond or gem-set; the stones are shown in the listing photography.
Production dates to 2013. Cartier has been making watches since 1904 and is shape-led rather than movement-led: the Tank, Santos, Crash and Baignoire are recognised by silhouette alone, which is why the discontinued and limited cases appreciate the way they do.
