The Rolex GMT-Master II 40mm White Gold Circa 2009 is for sale as a one-off piece. The GMT-Master II tracks a second time zone on a 24-hour bezel, a design that began as a tool for Pan Am flight crews.
The case measures 40mm in white gold, on a diamond bracelet. The movement is automatic, wound by the motion of the wrist. It is factory or aftermarket gem-set; the dial and bezel stones are described in the listing photography.
A date display is set into the dial. Production dates to Circa 2009. Rolex first launched these exceptional, white gold and gemstone-set versions of the iconic GMT-Master II in 2007. Three extravagant versions of this reference could be found. The 116759 SANR with diamonds and black sapphires, the 116759 SARU with diamonds, sapphires and rubies and the 116759 SA with diamonds and blue sapphires. The present watch further features a diamond dial, elevating its presence. Rolex does not publish production figures, does not discount, and allocates its steel sport models years behind demand.
