About this Hermès Kelly Cut Malachite Epsom
The Pre-Owned Hermès Kelly Cut Malachite Gold is for sale as a single unit. The Kelly Cut takes the Kelly’s flap and lock language and flattens it into a clutch, with pull straps that hook over a front toggle instead of a full closure. It carries no strap and is meant to be held.
Epsom is an embossed calfskin with a pressed cross-hatch grain. It is light, rigid and wipe-clean, and it holds a sharp edge instead of softening at the corners. Gold hardware is a warm yellow plate and is the finish that moves fastest on the secondary market.
It carries pull straps attaching to a front toggle, a small top handle, a front flap, tonal stitching and an interior slip pocket. The interior is lined in Malachite chevre leather.
