About this Hermès Kelly Cut Rubis Tadelakt
Pre-Owned Hermès Kelly Cut Rubis Gold, available to buy now. The Kelly Cut takes the Kelly’s flap and lock language and flattens it into a clutch, with pull straps that hook over a front toggle instead of a full closure. It carries no strap and is meant to be held.
Tadelakt is a smooth waxed calfskin with a glossy, almost lacquered surface, and it is one of the more delicate finishes in the range. Gold hardware is a warm yellow plate and is the finish that moves fastest on the secondary market.
It carries pull straps attaching to a front toggle, a small top handle, a front flap, tonal stitching and an interior slip pocket. The interior is lined in Rubis chevre leather.
