About this Hermès Bolide 27 Rose Azalee Epsom
Hermès HSS Bolide 27 Rose Azalee Palladium, available to buy now. The Bolide was Hermes’ first bag with a zip closure, introduced decades before the Birkin, and it is built with the rounded, structured silhouette the house has kept largely unchanged since.
The 27 is a mid-size Bolide, roomier than the 25 while keeping the same rounded structure. Epsom is an embossed calfskin with a pressed cross-hatch grain. It is light, rigid and wipe-clean, and it holds sharp structure without slouching. Palladium is a bright, cool silver that will not tarnish.
It carries a top zip closure, double rolled handles, a removable shoulder strap, tonal stitching and an open interior pocket. The interior is lined in Gris Mouette swift leather. This is a Special Order, or HSS, commission. Those are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf, they carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in combinations that never reach general stock.
Condition is stated as New. Seller’s condition notes, unedited: plastic on hardware.
