About this Hermès Bolide 31 Rouge Pivoine Clémence
The Hermès Bolide 31 Rouge Pivoine Palladium is for sale as a single unit. The Bolide was Hermes’ first bag with a zip closure, introduced decades before the Birkin, and it is built with the rounded, structured silhouette the house has kept largely unchanged since.
The 31 is the largest Bolide in regular rotation, closer to a briefcase than a handbag. Clemence is a taurillon leather with a flatter, broader grain and more weight than Epsom. It relaxes as it is carried, softening the bag’s line. Palladium is a bright, cool silver that will not tarnish.
It carries a top zip closure, double rolled handles, a removable shoulder strap, a clochette, tonal stitching and an open interior pocket. The interior is lined in Rouge Pivoine lambskin leather.
Condition is stated as New. Seller’s condition notes, unedited: two small press marks on the base of bag.
