Retourne construction, stitched inside out and then turned, gives rounded corners and a slightly relaxed stance. Epsom is an embossed calfskin with a pressed cross-hatch grain. It is light, rigid and wipe-clean, and it holds sharp edges without slouching. Gold hardware is a warm yellow plate and is the finish that moves fastest on the secondary market.
