Caviar is a pressed, grained calfskin. It is the most durable leather Chanel uses on a flap, it resists scratching, and it holds its shape without corner softening. The hardware is gold.

It carries the CC turnlock closure, a slip pocket, an interior zipped pocket and chevron quilting. The interior is lined in black leather and has one zip pocket on the rear wall with logo pull, inside one slip pocket. This is the Chevron Envelope version.
