The 12 is the size most people settle on: it takes a phone, a cardholder and a small pouch without becoming a tote. Saddle leather is vegetable-tanned and thick, closer to harness leather than handbag calf. It arrives firm, softens with carrying, and takes on a patina rather than staying uniform. The fittings are silver.
It is built with a top handle, belted gusseted side panels, a zip closure, tonal stitching and an interior pocket. The Row carries no external logo, no plaque and no monogram. Everything the label does is in the shape, the leather and the fittings, and the pieces are made in Italy in small runs that are not reordered once a colour is finished.
