The Pre-Owned Hermès HSS Kelly Sellier 28 Bleu Iris Verso Brushed Gold is for sale as a one-off piece. Sellier construction places the seams on the outside, which gives the Kelly its crisp edges and upright stance. As a Special Order, this colour combination was never offered off the shelf.
28 is the reference Kelly, and 27 the closest Bolide equivalent. Ostrich is quill-marked skin, with the follicle pattern densest across the front panel. It is light, rare, and does not tolerate water. Brushed gold carries a matte satin finish rather than a mirror polish, offered only on special order commissions.
It is finished with tonal stitching. The interior is lined in Rose Shocking chevre leather. It is a Verso, meaning the interior is lined in a deliberately contrasting colour. Special Order, or HSS, pieces are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf. They carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in colour and leather combinations that never reach general stock.
