About this Hermès Birkin 35 Chocolat Togo
The Pre-Owned Hermès HSS Birkin 35 Chocolat Verso Gold is for sale as a one-off piece. Special Order Birkins are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf. Bi-colour, tri-colour and Verso commissions like this one exist in combinations Hermès never produces for general stock.
35 is a working size, taking a folder and a laptop sleeve without losing the line. Togo is a pebbled calfskin with a fine raised grain. It shrugs off light scratching far better than a smooth leather and softens slowly at the corners. Gold hardware is a warm yellow plate and is the finish that moves fastest on the secondary market.
It is finished with tonal stitching. The interior is lined in Vert Chartreuse chevre leather. It is a Verso, meaning the interior is lined in a deliberately contrasting colour. Special Order, or HSS, pieces are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf. They carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in colour and leather combinations that never reach general stock.
