About this Hermès Birkin 35 Bleu Hydra Swift

35 is a working size, taking a folder and a laptop sleeve without losing the line. Swift is a smooth, fine-grained calfskin that takes dye deeply, so colour reads richer on it than on any grained leather. Brushed gold carries a matte satin finish rather than a mirror polish, offered only on special order commissions.
It is finished with tonal stitching. The interior is lined in Anemone chevre leather. It is a Verso, meaning the interior is lined in a deliberately contrasting colour. Special Order, or HSS, pieces are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf. They carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in colour and leather combinations that never reach general stock.
