One such watch was the present reference 5975, a brand new interpretation of the chronograph wristwatch segment. Instead of the usual twin sub-dial configuration, for this limited edition Patek Philippe opted to only retain the chronograph seconds, with added scales on the dial which emulate snail-dial chronographs of the WW2 era. Patek Philippe has been independently and family-owned since 1932, produces roughly 70,000 watches a year across the entire catalogue, and does not discount. Allocation on the steel sport references runs years behind demand.
