Patek Philippe Calatrava introduced the reference 5522A along with eight other watches specifically for its New York exhibition, “The Art of Watches Grand Exhibition New York 2017.” This model comes in a special limited edition of only 600 pieces, all encased in steel, made exclusively for the firm’s 89 retailers in the United States. Patek Philippe has been independently and family-owned since 1932, produces roughly 70,000 watches a year across the entire catalogue, and does not discount. Allocation on the steel sport references runs years behind demand.
