Louis Vuitton Murakami Cerises Speedy Bandoulière 20 Brown, available to buy now. The Bandoulière adds a detachable shoulder strap to the Speedy, which is the only functional change the bag has had in decades.
Monogram coated canvas is cotton canvas with a PVC coating over the printed pattern, which is why it shrugs off rain and handling in a way leather does not. The Cerises, or cherries, print is a Murakami design from the original collaboration, and it is among the most collected of the run. The hardware is gold.
It is built with a zip closure, a shoulder strap and an interior pocket. The interior is lined in a red textile lining. Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami first collaborated in 2003 under Marc Jacobs, and the line was retired in 2015. The 2025 re-edition brought it back for its twentieth anniversary as a limited run rather than a permanent addition, which is why these do not restock.
