The Hermès HSS Kelly Sellier 25 Black Brushed Gold is for sale as a one-off piece. Sellier construction places the seams on the outside, which gives the Kelly its crisp edges and upright stance. As a Special Order, this colour combination was never offered off the shelf.

25 is the size the market waits longest for, in either Birkin or Kelly. Epsom is an embossed calfskin with a pressed cross-hatch grain. It is light, rigid and wipe-clean, and it holds sharp structure without slouching. Brushed gold carries a matte satin finish rather than a mirror polish, offered only on special order commissions.

It is finished with tonal stitching. The interior is lined in Black chevre leather. Special Order, or HSS, pieces are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf. They carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in colour and leather combinations that never reach general stock.
