About this Hermès Constance 24 Gris Mouette Epsom
The Pre-Owned Hermès HSS Constance 24 Gris Mouette Epsom Rose Gold is for sale as a one-off piece. The Constance is built around the oversized H clasp, which is the closure and the entire visual statement at once. It is Hermes’ hardest bag to source after the Birkin and Kelly, and it is almost never available at boutique without history.
The 24 is the larger Constance, deep enough to be used daily rather than kept for evenings. Epsom is an embossed calfskin with a pressed cross-hatch grain. It is light, rigid and wipe-clean, and it holds the Constance’s sharp edges without slouching. Rose gold is produced in a fraction of the volume of gold or palladium.
It carries the signature H snap closure, an adjustable strap, a shoulder strap, an interior zip pocket and tonal stitching. The interior is lined in Bleu Electric lambskin. It is a Verso, meaning the interior is lined in a deliberately contrasting colour. This is the Verso version, produced for a single season and not repeated. This is a Special Order, or HSS, commission. Those are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf, they carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in combinations that never reach general stock.
