The Pre-Owned Hermès Birkin 35 Violet Togo Palladium is for sale as a one-off piece. The 35 is the largest of the core sizes and the one that actually functions as a work bag, and because demand skews smaller it is usually the best value per centimetre in the lineup.

Togo is a pebbled calfskin with a fine raised grain. It shrugs off light scratching far better than a smooth leather and holds the Birkin’s shape while the corners soften slowly with use. Palladium is a bright, cool silver that will not tarnish.

Retourne construction, stitched inside out and then turned, gives rounded corners and a slightly relaxed stance. The bag carries a front flap, two straps closing over a centre toggle, a clochette holding the lock and keys, and double rolled handles.

Condition is stated as Pre-owned, graded Excellent. The blind stamp dates production to 2010. Seller’s condition notes, unedited: This bag is relaxed in shape structure in the front of the bag. There is only partial plastic on the bottom feet and to the turnlock plate. The rest of the exposed hardware, including the lock has faint hairline scratches and the turnlock has moderate scratches. The exterior leather is clean overall except for a faint scuffing to one of the front bottom corners and slight texture difference. The pull straps are a little wavy.
