About this Hermès Kelly Pochette Orange Swift
The Hermès HSS Kelly Pochette Orange Verso Gold is for sale as a one-off piece. The Kelly Pochette shrinks the Kelly clutch further still, small enough to be carried alone or dropped inside a larger bag, with the same toggle-and-strap closure as the Cut.
Swift is a smooth, fine-grained calfskin that takes dye deeply, so colour reads richer on it than on any grained leather. It is soft in the hand and marks more readily. Gold hardware is a warm yellow plate and is the finish that moves fastest on the secondary market.
It carries a front flap and tonal stitching. The interior is lined in Rose Extreme swift. It is a Verso, meaning the interior is lined in a deliberately contrasting colour. This is a Special Order, or HSS, commission. Those are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf, they carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in combinations that never reach general stock.
