About this Hermès Kelly Pochette Gold Swift
The Hermès HSS Kelly Pochette Gold Verso Permabrass is for sale as a one-off piece. The Kelly Pochette shrinks the Kelly clutch down to a size carried alone or dropped inside a larger bag. As a Special Order, this colour combination was never offered off the shelf.
Swift is a smooth, fine-grained calfskin that takes dye deeply, so colour reads richer on it than on any grained leather. Permabrass is a warm, muted brass tone sitting between gold and palladium, on a small fraction of production.
It is finished with contrast stitching. The interior is lined in Gris Perle swift. It is a Verso, meaning the interior is lined in a deliberately contrasting colour. Special Order, or HSS, pieces are placed through a boutique rather than bought off the shelf. They carry a horseshoe stamp above the Hermès blind stamp, and they exist in colour and leather combinations that never reach general stock.
