The Hermès HAC Birkin 32 Natural Sable Fjord Brushed Palladium 2000 is for sale as a one-off piece. The 32 sits between the everyday and working sizes.
The Haut à Courroies is the Birkin’s taller predecessor, originally made to carry riding equipment. Fjord is a heavy grained bull calf with a pronounced grain and natural water resistance. Hermès no longer uses it on new production. Brushed palladium carries a matte satin finish, offered only on special order commissions.
Hermès Vintage Natural Sable Fjord HAC Haut à Courroies Birkin 32 Brushed Palladium Hardware, 2000. The interior is lined in a tonal chèvre leather. Includes lock, two keys, clochette, dust bag and box.
Condition is stated as Pre-owned. Condition notes: Minor scratches to the front hardware, with plating wear to the protective feet. Moderate wear to the exterior base corners and corner piping. Moderate surface wear, fading, and darkening to top handles. Light creasing to the rear exterior near the base. Minor press marks and light surface wear on the interior base lining.
