The Hermès Birkin 30 Ardoise Swift Palladium 2008 is for sale as a single unit. The 30 is the size most people settle on: large enough for a laptop sleeve and the day’s contents, small enough to still read as a handbag.
Retourne construction, stitched inside out and then turned, gives rounded corners and a slightly relaxed stance. Swift is a smooth, fine-grained calfskin that takes dye deeply, so colour reads richer on it than on any grained leather. It marks more readily. Palladium is a bright, cool silver that will not tarnish.
The interior is lined in Rose Dragée leather. Swift 30 2008.
